Revenue Level 1 Compliance Project

Revenue has commenced a Level 1 compliance project on 2022 income tax returns and are asking taxpayers to review and amend their returns where appropriate.

The focus is on:

• Taxpayers who may have claimed relief for AVC pension contributions twice via payroll and via their Form 11
• Taxpayers where turnover on the Form 11 exceeds the VAT registration threshold but the taxpayer was not VAT registered.
